Leaving the paved roads behind, we head off-road towards the Potamon Dam. This area offers some of the most stunning panoramic views in the Rethymno region. The contrast of the water against the rugged mountains provides a perfect backdrop for high-end nature photography.

Saint Antonios Gorge – The Hidden Rock Temple
Explore the lush Saint Antonios (Patsos) Gorge. We take a light walk through the greenery to discover a hidden temple carved inside the rock. It is a mystical place where nature and faith meet, surrounded by running waters and towering cliffs.

Spili Village – The Famous Lion Fountains
A visit to the traditional village of Spili is a must. Famous for its 25 stone lion-head fountains that gush cold mountain water, Spili is the heart of rural Crete. Walk through the cobblestone alleys, visit local craft shops, and feel the authentic village vibe.

Private Cretan Lunch – Flavors of the Hinterland
We stop at a hand-picked local taverna for a traditional Cretan lunch. Away from the crowds, you will savor authentic recipes made with pure local ingredients, enjoying the famous Cretan hospitality in a warm, welcoming setting.
Our adventure continues through the Moundros Gorge. We pause at a natural mountain spring to refresh ourselves and capture the dramatic scenery of the gorge. This is a quiet, untouched spot that only locals know.

Preveli Palm Forest & Beach – Tropical Relaxation
We spend 1 hour and 45 minutes at the exotic Preveli Beach. Here, the palm trees and the river create a tropical oasis.
Accessibility: You can follow the walking trail to the beach or, if you prefer, we can stop at a point that allows for easier access to the water.

Kourtaliotiko Gorge – The Power of Nature
A 15-minute stop at the majestic Kourtaliotiko Gorge allows you to experience its raw power. The steep cliffs and the sound of the wind make it one of the most Instagrammable spots in Crete.

“Three Monasteries” – Your Private View of Rethymno
Our final panoramic stop is the “Three Monasteries” viewpoint. As the day winds down, enjoy a bird’s-eye view of Rethymno city and the endless blue of the Aegean.
